Carleth’s Run Club

Helping Carleth turn her miles, mindset, and message into a website that moves people — one story, one product, one runner at a time

About this Project

When Carleth reached out, she had a clear mission: redesign her website and create a space to feature her running merchandise. Her existing site was built on HubSpot, but after a few early conversations, it became clear that the platform couldn’t support the features she envisioned. She needed more design freedom, better performance, and the flexibility to grow.

We decided to migrate her entire site to WordPress. This included moving her blog content, setting up new integrations, and building a fresh user experience that reflected her energy and style. Her brand is built on movement and momentum, so I designed a site that felt the same—light, bold, and full of personality.

Challenges

One of the biggest hurdles was the migration from HubSpot to WordPress. We had to transfer all her blog content while keeping the formatting intact and preserving SEO value. Although we moved the website to WordPress, Carleth still wanted to use HubSpot to manage her newsletter. This meant I had to ensure that all new subscriber data from WordPress forms would sync seamlessly with her HubSpot contact list.

She also had an exciting request: a page to share her favorite products and referral links. I designed a layout called “Carleth’s Favorites”, using a sticky title background and a floating grid of items. To make this page easy for her to update without needing any tech skills, I built a custom editor in the backend. This setup allows her to add or remove products with just a few clicks—no coding required.
